Oregon\u2019s 2026 General Election is Tuesday, November 3, 2026<\/strong>. Oregon conducts elections by mail, so registered voters receive their ballots at their mailing address.<\/p>\n

Important 2026 General Election Dates<\/h3>\n

October 13, 2026 \u2014 Voter Registration Deadline<\/strong>\n
This is the last day to register to vote for the November General Election. Online registrations must be completed by 11:59 p.m.<\/strong>, and mailed registration cards must be postmarked by October 13.<\/p>\n

October 14\u201320, 2026 \u2014 Ballots Mailed<\/strong>\n
Oregon counties begin mailing ballots to registered voters on October 14. Ballots are mailed to in-state voters during this period, with delivery dates varying by county.<\/p>\n

November 3, 2026 \u2014 Election Day<\/strong>\n
This is the final day to return your ballot. Official ballot drop boxes close at 8:00 p.m.<\/strong> County election offices are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Oregon voters can register online and check or update their voter registration through the Oregon Secretary of State.<\/p>\n

Returning Your Ballot<\/h2>\n

You can return your Oregon ballot by mail, at an official ballot drop box, or directly to your county elections office.<\/p>\n

By mail:<\/strong> No postage is required. Oregon recommends mailing your ballot at least one week before Election Day. If mailing close to Election Day, the Secretary of State advises obtaining a manual postmark at a USPS location.<\/p>\n
